Genie Insights is the exclusive sales and implementation partner for the Island of Ireland for Freeway Fleet Systems, an asset management software that has been specifically designed for the transport industry to manage fleets and workshops. If an asset requires routine maintenance, requires spares, attracts defects, consumes resources and requires management, then Freeway can provide the tools to control it.

By dealing with all aspects of fleet and/or workshop management in one place, and by seamlessly integrating with other commonly used transport systems in a coordinated approach, Freeway makes the management of a complex operation much simpler, bringing together asset management, fleet maintenance and workshop management.

Genie Insights can plan your Freeway implementation, from identifying how the system will best suit your operation, advising on possible IT system integrations and providing hands-on support right through set up to ‘go live’ and beyond.

Freeway Software Features

Asset Management

Freeway can record all assets including vehicles, trailers, plant and buildings and all costs including parts, labour, fuel, depreciation and finance. The system can also record links between assets. The system is highly customisable with over 100 customisable analysis dimensions.

Data Analysis

With Freeway’s intuitive analytics platform you can instantly analyse and cross-reference your costs using a range of user-defined parameters, such as make, model, age, location, timeframe, component or reason. The flexible format can be applied to understand areas such as fleet cost, labour efficiency, supplier performance or repeat defects.

Schedules

Freeway offers a complete ‘drag and drop’ scheduling solution which is fully customisable to your requirement, whether it be distance or time intervals or a combination of the two. The interface is easy to interpret and can be configured to daily, weekly or monthly view.

Defects

Defect recording via smart phone or tablet from either driver walkaround checks or mechanic workshop inspections provide a paper-free environment with integration directly into the Freeway system for further interrogation and reporting.

Job Cards

A single document which encompasses parts, labour, scheduled events, defects and purchase orders unifies to provide a fully costed job card. This can, at a touch of a button, convert to an invoice. The user-friendly interface can be used on a tablet, smart phone or PC and the system can incorporate staff clock-on and off.

Fuel

Seamlessly import, manage and error correct fuel card and / or fuel monitoring system data. Analysis can then be carried out on mpg and cost per litre. This integration coupled with the tyre management capability means that a true whole life cost per asset can be achieved.

Workshop & Supplier Management

The Freeway system can allocate and manage defects and scheduled events to your own workshop or to external suppliers, whilst maintaining communications with your operations team in relation to planned work, changes to work estimates and work completion.

Document Management

Use ‘drag and drop’ or barcodes to link supplier invoices, delivery notes, accident records, standard procedures, and compliance, registration and safety documentation. Click-to-view, print or e-mail documents as pdf, bmp or jpg.

Procurement

Freeway offers comprehensive procurement management from purchase order and goods receipt to invoice match. The system integrates seamlessly with external accounts packages.

Inventory

Manage multiple stores by location or department, whether own stock or imprest, including wet stock (fuel, AdBlue, oil, etc) and tyres. Additional features include stock taking via smart phone and complete warranty management.
