Do Solar Panels Require Maintenance?
CIGS solar panels require very little routine maintenance. They are designed for use in commercial vehicle environments and feature an ETFE surface which helps them remain clean during normal use. In most circumstances, rainfall and normal vehicle washing should be sufficient and no separate routine cleaning of the solar panel is required.
As with any vehicle-mounted equipment, however, we recommend simple visual checks and periodic inspection of the complete solar system to help ensure everything remains in good condition.
